BIOGRAPHY

Ross Meyers is a criminal defense attorney practicing in Vancouver, WA. Born and raised in Colorado, Ross earned a Bachelor of Science from Colorado State University in 2012, and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Oregon School of Law in 2016. After law school, Ross moved to Vancouver, WA, where he worked for several years as a public defender with Jeffrey Barrar, P.S. representing indigent individuals charged with criminal offenses. Ross then transitioned into private practice with Whatcom Law Group, where he practiced criminal litigation and family law.

In 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, Ross left Washington to be closer to his father, who experienced health issues during the pandemic. During this time, Ross worked as a State Complaints Officer with the Colorado Department of Education, where he investigated alleged violations of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act and the Protection of Persons Against Restraint Act.

In 2023, Ross returned to criminal litigation in Vancouver, WA, joining Roger Priest at VanWa Legal, PLLC. He currently handles DUI, domestic violence charges, protection orders, expungement, firearm restorations, and other criminal defense charges.
